Honestly, tho…
I know a lot of the artists I love and admire say and do some really problematic, Grade A bullshit supreme. And while I still have a deep fondness for them, I wish I could just don a flower crown and lovely dress and be the sweetest, sparkliest little unicorn, but just as they’re about to do/say something super Not Okay, I flounce on over and thwack ‘em with my pretty little basket. And as they lay on the ground staring at me in confused horror, I lean over and whisper, “Don’t you fucking dare. Just don’t…Don’t do The Thing,” pat them gently on the head, and twirl away.
