I've got a Bakewell heart

About me:
The name's Crystal. I'm a female-identifying pansexual with a whole lot of love to give. My love affair with red velvet cake is the stuff of legends. Life goals? To live in a house designed for cats and run a sweet-ass tearoom.

WORD OF WARNING: I just wanna let you know that some of the content on this blog is NSFW. That's just how I roll, and have no shame in it. Enjoy or despise it. The choice is yours.

I’d like to see him age with me. I wouldn’t mind Sherlock going on for a long time. Maybe we could revisit it as a one-off or a two-parter. Assuming Martin Freeman and I are free at the same time.

“I am disappointed in everybody”, Or: No, My Expectations were Never that High

joolabee:

To start: I never thought John/Sherlock would become canon. No, really. I don’t think many people do. Lots of people want it to, but I think it’s generally accepted as a relative impossibility, no matter how much we want it.

What I am here to talk about it why that impossibility is so harmful, what that says about media today, and, of course, why I am disappointed in fucking everybody.

Also: this post contains minor spoilers and frank discussion of the appearance of a certain character, so if you don’t know what I’m talking about, turn back now before you regret it.

Not okay.  Never okay.
It doesn’t matter what your feelings are about Ian Hallard’s tweet or Amanda Abbington’s response or any of the shit going on in the Sherlock fandom.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re hurt or feel betrayed by what they said.
It is never okay to send hateful messages to anyone and it is DEFINITELY NOT OKAY TO WISH SOMEONE DEAD.
Please grow up, or at the very least learn some basics to human interaction.

Feel like I need to reblog this because of my unexpectedly ranty reblog earlier. There’s no excuse for this. This is why they think the whole fandom is full of shitty wackos with crazy opinions. If you disagree with someone and feel the need to argue with them directly, do it fucking respectfully.

Come the fuck on, fandom. Surely we are better than this. What the bleeding hell is wrong with some of you?

elementary is trying too hard to be inclusive

Woooaaahhh. Just started reading another John/Sherlock fic, barely cracked the surface of it. More of a gentle tap-tap, really. But this-this…I don’t know how to explain it. Agh! It felt like a ummmm reverse whirlpool of emotion took me over and warm tears starting welling up, making my eyes and heart ache. I love this pairing so much — SO MUCH that it hurts to breathe and sometimes all it takes is a line or gif or graphic or song or hell just an image that pops into my head, and I’m reminded of how powerful — how brilliant, fierce, dangerous, lovely, perfectly unperfect their relationship is — how much they mean to one another and it…God, it fills me right up.
