Sometimes the depth and scope of my love for Varekai (or most things Cirque du Soleil) continues to surprise me. My heart still flutters and tosses itself about whenever thoughts of Fire Within spring to mind, or when I watch clips from Varekai. And the music from this show — ooooh the music! — resonates in me whenever I hear it.
Note to Hannah: I’m not just posting this clip for the sake of reminiscing, but because this performance and the music gives me Star feels. And I wanted to tease you with this so you’ll sit round, wondering what this is inspiring to me write about in the the Star and the Catfish story I’m working on for ya.
